I love this game, I've been playing it for just about a month but I got instantly hooked and that is why I'm writing this message.
I'm a top 100 mp legend player and I've just won a place in the best 8 players in Italy and I'm invited to the live finals at this Telecom event at the Milan Games Week. I'm not bragging, I just want to emphasize how this game has the potential to go strong even in the esports!
So please, for the love of this great game, stop this 'reporting hackers/cheaters' tomfoolery threads, you don't need that to catch those players! You clearly know who is cheating and how, so please just change your mind and take a 0 tolerance stance against these players.
Almost every game in MP I have to see 'infinite nitro' or 'insta-respawning' cheaters that have been reported with videos and proof more than once. This has to end.
And putting the cheaters into a different leaderboard ('cheaterboard') in TLE is not the correct approach. The correct way to deal with this is something like warnings: you used cheats so you are now banned for 1 week as a warning. Next time you will get 2 weeks ban. You **** again, you are permabanned. Only this way these kind of players understand and behave. And you will not lose any players.
We get it, you want a bigger playerbase as possible and get as many IAP and ads-watching players as possible. But again, trust me, as a veteran player, this is NOT the correct approach. You may see more revenues now, but a lot of serious players will leave because of these cheaters-tolerance choices, the game will not be taken as a serious game and it will hurt your wallet in the long run.
So again, you need to take a 0 tolerance stance against cheaters and hackers.
